@tangomushi.bsky.social You mentioned a game that was quiet like Haunting Ground once. Was it Tormented Fathers or Tormented Souls?

If it's getting in your way, it's probably in the way of your audience. Whatever the prompt is, is probably all the details the reader wants anyway, if this is the type of book you are writing.

Thing is, you can easily write a story that is just wall to wall action, story point to story point. Lee Child doesn't waste time on telling you the colour of the carpet and where the fireplace is in relation to the door.

If you don't want to write it, your readers probably don't want to read it

I feel like they came up with the title first and then just built a movie around that.

90s Batman was to sell toys and merch to kids.

By the time Snyder came around adults were the biggest market for toys and merch.

Sean Baker has spent his career making small films about people whose stories rarely appear on screen.
Lets hope his historic 4 Oscar win means studios will take a chance on more diverse stories from people whose voices are rarely heard.

Saw Asogi's voice actor Ben Deery play Dr Strangelove tonight as a replacement for Steve Coogan. Coogan who, might I add, has never done a voice for the Ace Attorney series. So that's an upgrade in my opinion!

Did Batman just interrupt Scarecrow breaking crockery with a baseball bat?

I just can't follow it anymore. I see games that will celebrate 500,000 sales and then I'll see a game I thought had a similar budget be described as a flop at 3x the amount.

He really wants to be considered funny. People forget he was a founding member of a comedy site called THUD meant to rival Cracked and Onion.

Did SMBC not put an end to this in 2011?

Fine leather jacket with every Collectors Edition preorder?

That actually sounds great but I can't think of any high res pixel art remaster. Maybe the Sins of our Father remaster but I haven't played it!

What would an Atlantis remake entail?

Thinking of the SCUMM era Monkey Island remakes, most prefer the original art. You can save anywhere and the only QoL I can think of would maybe be a hint system.

Will a remaster add to the original? Will it bring new fans or just annoy the older ones?

What are your favourite one sitting video games? 2-4 hours.
Full Throttle, Inside, A Short Hike, Mouthwashing, Firewatch, 30 Flights of Loving, To The Moon, Brothers

Movie length video games, let me know?

Director Risa Garcia worked as a casting director which explains why this movie has so much great acting talent present. But even with the stacked cast, I don't think enough people are even aware this movie exists. Not sure about theatrical but the only DVD release in Europe was German exclusive

I hope for 2025, every day there is a little chocolate on your pillow waiting or an invite to write five zesty sentences about a movie you already have something you want to say about and you will be compensated fairly for your insights.

I don't even understand complaints like this. In walkable cities it would still make more sense for Brianna to order groceries for delivery with 1 vehicle doing 10 household's shopping locally than have 10 cars go back and forth. And delivery would still be cheaper than owning and maintaining a car

Fairport Convention - Matty Groves
Fairport Convention - Matty Groves YouTube video by Dennis Metselaar

Happy 2025.
In Matty Groves by Fairport Convention they mention it is the first holiday of the year, so New Year's.
The servant who snitches ran barefoot through fields and swan through stream which must have been ice cold in January.
Bet Lord Donald didn't even give the rat an extra farthing.

I hear Chris Nolan is adapting Odyssey. Will he include Mario's nipples?
