A letter by a physician describing his many patients inadequately immunized primarily due to inadequate public health info. Appeals to Ont. Government to spend money on this education not self-promotion.

As the unregulated drug death crisis continues to run rampant, this decision will make our communities less safe, put pressures on emergency response services and lead to preventable deaths.&nbsp;</div> share.nwmd.social/s/zuZkKyZM

A nat’l housing program would have standards & not cater to the whims of a premier or strong lobbyists.
Maybe we’ll see a premier announce a social housing, family housing, Indigenous housing, seniors housing, supportive housing, co-op housing build. I hope so. Ontario was a hard no.

🧵Yesterday we saw Ontario Premier Ford announce that “homes valued at up to $1.5 million would be eligible for a maximum of $130,000 in relief.” Toronto Star.
Today we see this is a federal Liberal housing strategy to give money to provinces to improve supply. Supply for who?…2
“It's unclear whether Ford is drawing inspiration from Donald Trump or P.T. Barnum, but either way his strategy is simple: move quickly from one announcement to the next and generate a constant churn of controversy and confusion.”
Yes yes yes. Toronto will lose most proceadural gambits because the province is all powerful. They need to provide the vision to win hearts and minds. There is so little vision. The port lands had vision & why people were able to defeat Ford's mall deal there. Vision is how you fight, as I wrote...

#toronto closes warming centres. Revolving door #publicpolicy. When warming centres re-opened on March 12th - 32, then 119, 189, 233, 264 ppl came in on subsequent nights. Now shut, probably for good because spring is here and that = NO #righttoshelter
Loved it.
Great walk March 1 with TFN’s Clara. We saw scaup, goldeneyes, mute swans, a tree swallow and both ring-billed and herring gulls.
BTW we have tons of stats. TPH collects them + Toronto Homeless Memorial stats. This posting is about the non communication by provincial coroner and TPS in a suspicious death. We don’t even know if this person was homeless.
Greg C might be able to give you some clues he’s putting together.
⚰️I find it so disturbing after all these years, including multiple inquests, there is no proactive effort by coroner’s office or @TPSOperations to provide commun’n alerts to the public and/or to seek help in identification. #Media ‼️shake this down! @ONsafety @SHJNetwork
There should be a city media statement….3
‼️toronto There are reliable reports of an individual found deceased, frozen near the 519 a few days ago. Of course outreach workers have heard about this through their contacts. Apparently an autopsy is being performed….2
