Imagine a feed that isn't driven by algorithms.

Wikipedia's Recent additions page lists new and expanded articles by date, not by your data. It's built by volunteers for discovery.

When in doubt, go to Islay.

One of the reasons why Elon Musk and other folks on the right want to shut down Wikipedia (or "compete" with it). It's a good platform for regular folks to accumulate data, even keep track of all of this administration's atrocities in real time. Great work

This seems like a maliciously put headline to make people feel a certain way.

Wikipedia is not partaking in generative AI. They are making AI companies and scrappers having to pay for training their modules off wikipedia texts. And having an AI (not that ai) tasked with updating dead links.

They once gave Molly double gabapentin. She proceeded to vomit everywhere, like a horrible furry exorcism. They then tried to refuse to trim her claws because of said boaking. Not today, I said. Not this day. Today the claws will be trimmed.

More of this please! Three dimensional childfree women ❤️

4 months ago 2 0 0 0

Really enjoyed Down Cemetery Road and wanted to highlight how refreshing it is to see two women characters who:

a) openly state they don't want children
b) are also depicted as compassionate, kind caregivers to a child
c) and yet do not then change their minds and decide to have a child anyway
