Little bug going to town on a bright yellow flower.
This little guy seemed to be having a good old time in the garden.

It's Taskmaster day!
I thought there was a very important person named Frontage because there was a Frontage Road in every city we visited.
I just witnessed a man yell at the driver who almost hit his mom "don't apologize. Pay attention." And I thought of this.
He had to punch the car to get the driver to stop.
I haven't replaced my gas stove but I have a countertop induction burner that cost maybe $100 and it's all I cook on most of the year. It's a great entry point to induction cooking.
Traffic light cycle skipped the bike signal on my way to work this morning. I contacted 311 and 20 minutes later get an email saying that it's resolved. Same light coming home skipped the damn bike signal.
I don't know why the Saturn SC2 is the first thing that popped into my head.
That's awesome.
As a fellow brother of a more Arkansan sister, I'm not sure how I feel about you conceding that.
I got hit by a moped the first time I rode on it.
South Park turned me off of bike commuting for years. It's not a safe street.
One of my favorite little things lately is that I often ride my bike to my wife's work so that I can ride home with her. It's less than a mile round trip.
I went and saw it yesterday. It's still great.
Wishing you the merriest Christmas, @barrettbowlin.bsky.social

This is just 40 seconds of Macaulay Culkin gushing about Poona Ford, apropos of nothing
Generally, if a coach is fired "for cause" the school is setting up a legal argument to not pay them anything. Michigan's coach was arrested almost immediately after getting fired so it seems like they've got a decent argument.
I don't think Bevo liked getting hit by the ball.
"Back in the High Life Again" was playing at the grocery store last night. I briefly sang along and my wife looked at me and said she'd never heard that song before. I thought it was everywhere and unmissable.
I enjoy this ode to analog recording
Velo Orange Instagram story featuring a blue bicycle with silver accessories.
I got a pretty new bike but I still spend way too much time looking at pictures of other pretty bikes online. Was kind of weird to see it show up in Velo Orange's stories though.
There is a ciclovia in Mueller today at the same time as the school district is having its all city choral festival a few blocks away, also in Mueller.
I'm very happy to have found a barbershop within a mile of my house, with bike racks right outside the door, and a barber that I like.
By that I mean that this would be an exemption on a tax levied exclusively by local governments, so there wouldn't be a state revenue impact. If there's enough of a school district revenue loss, there would be a state cost.
I have no idea where they came up with $44 million as a potential impact.
Kind of curious about their analysis of Prop 5.
I've stopped getting on the southbound orange sidewalk/bike lane on Robert Dedman because there usually cars parked on it. Northbound it's just students and Moody Center event crowds walking in it.
I don't understand why the city put a two-way protected bike lane on the side of Airport Blvd that runs next to railroad tracks and doesn't have any destinations on it. Is it supposed to be an express lane between 51st and 45th?
My collection of Ash singles is a source of great happiness. Angel Interceptor is such a good song.
