Even then they knew a second siege would be really bad optics.

Clinton had a lot more time to get ahold of the Bush Justice Department that carried out RR and Waco as well, which may have influenced the official response.

Probably slight disagreement here: I think the feds worked it out after because they are all morons who don't talk to each other, and just grabbed onto "lone bomber" with both hands(3rd man at truck rental be damned) because the nominal cause was retaliation for Waco, and (cont)

Maybe? But I think in Airplane! It's a reference to a coffee commercial, and the actress even played the woman in the coffee commercial too!

Right there's basically no room for growth. It's astonishing to me that are trying to make the latest flights air combat commanders/Tico replacements in that role.

I think she said he doesn't drink coffee in the afternoon and he said "What do you mean? I always have a second cup of coffee in the afternoon!" And she just looks absolutely flabbergasted.

Not sure if it was a certain way

But yeah gr ta ending.

OAH field trip to Eastern State Penitentiary. Glad I visited, I had a vague idea of it but for whatever the reason I had thought it closed in, like, the 1920s.

Cato study: Immigrants reduced deficits by $14.5 trillion since 1994 Immigrants have cut deficits by nearly one third over three decades.

I'm the last person to share anything from the Cato Institute but I did not anticipate the series of articles they have released in the last 2 months.

It's been my observation that conference attendees basically are 2 groups: people who have conference buddies and spend the time socializing with them on the floor.

And people who go to them&sort of wander around alone. I'm in the latter, &suspect that as a group we worry about intruding on others.

Hey seriously, literally in the bills it says they'll also use identifying information, such as your age data for "other purposes". That means your data goes into a government surveillance database. This would be for ANY *OS*, which is the thing your fucking PC runs off of.

Call your reps NOW.

I spent 45 minutes driving around downtown Philly muttering "I should have taken a train" when I arrived on Wednesday. I had had it in my head I was going to drive out to Valley Forge at some point and of course I've been walking/ubering everywhere, even over to Camden.

So, good choice!

I mean there was basically only one yard they could have plausibly came from anyway. Maybe if Hanwha Philly had existed back then it would have been two yards they could have plausibly came from

Didn't expect to see THESE at a OAH conference

First OAH panel was pretty good! I wasn't really familiar with the tradition of 4th of July oratory, although I don't know why I wouldn't have been given some well known speeches out there.
