What are you going to read this week? Celebrate spring with Cameron Reed's new novel "What We Are Seeking," a planetary settler tale with brilliant ecosystem worldbuilding, plausibly alien intelligences, and satisfyingly complex queer families of the future. So good. us.macmillan.com/books/978125...

Someone holding up a copy of The Language of Liars by S.L. Huang in front of a bunch of bookshelves filled with TDCP novellas.
The happiest of book birthdays to The Language of Liars by @slhuang.com, a story of secrets, body jumping, and the power of language!
Speak another people's language. Know them. Become them.
And discover you've destroyed them.
As of 2023, Sherlock Holmes is finally in the public domain in the United States -- which means that Arthur Conan Doyle's heirs and random other rights-holders can no longer insist that the character be free of any trace of homoeroticism.

I'm so GenX I'm not sure all these people understand. It's not like years ago.
I picked the Amber Benson's versions and loved them! ๐
Bookshelf full of books and cards and trinkets and stuff

George's cameos are on 50% discount and contribute to his fundraising for Parkinson's UK, and he's running another half Marathon in May to fundraise for Cancer Research UK, you can contribute here:

For my fellow #DeadBoyDetectives fans, here's my cameo from George Rexstrew, he tells about his experience running the London half marathon and then talks about spooky stories (to answer my questions). Special guest, so cool, he's walking Raffi!

From EARTHSEED: THE BOOKS OF THE LIVING Choose your leaders with wisdom and forethought. To be led by a coward is to be controlled by all that the coward fears. To be led by a fool is to be led by the opportunists who control the fool. To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen. To be led by a liar is to ask to be told lies. To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.

Locus Magazine is an essential institution for anyone who loves SFF books. They only have two days left of their fundraiser and they're still 50 percent short of their goal:

Captured by the Artemis II crew during their lunar flyby on April 6, 2026, this image shows the Moon fully eclipsing the Sun. From the crewโs perspective, the Moon appears large enough to completely block the Sun, creating nearly 54 minutes of totality and extending the view far beyond what is possible from Earth. The corona forms a glowing halo around the dark lunar disk, revealing details of the Sunโs outer atmosphere typically hidden by its brightness. Also visible are stars, typically too faint to see when imaging the Moon, but with the Moon in darkness stars are readily imaged. This unique vantage point provides both a striking visual and a valuable opportunity for astronauts to document and describe the corona during humanityโs return to deep space. The faint glow of the nearside of the Moon is visible in this image, having been illuminated by light reflected off the Earth. [alt text from NASA]
The #Artemis II astronauts said they needed more superlatives to describe their view of the eclipse, when the Sun was behind the Moon and its near surface was faintly illuminated by Earthshine

A drawing, by Ursula K. Le Guin, of a loafed-up black cat as seen from behind. The cat's tail curls around the podcast title IN YOUR SPARE TIME. Ursula K. Le Guin's name is at the top of the image, which has a teal background.

a one page rpg as indicated above. it's an absolute wall of text, and I feel terrible and extremely guilty but I honestly don't think there's any way to translate it into this box.
alright its time for another one page rpg, so here is Gay Hockey Dragon Sex Coffee Shop Romantic Sportsball Cozy Dark Fantasy which I feel covers all my bases pretty neatly
