For those curious - the base for Polish 🍅 soup is chicken soup (🇵🇱: rosół), we put in either rice or pasta, and we are eating that with no grilled cheese. There also float some pieces of carrot, I believe?

Ah, so it's just, like, "purely" liquid soup, right?

Sorry, this dish is popular in Poland, but it seems the details are all different? :)

Book Reading Behavior The National Endowment for the Arts’ Survey of Public Participation in the Arts (SPPA) provides a rich set of data about the place of books in Americans’ lives, demonstrating how humanistic skills and...

I expect he's below average. And about half of US adults have not read a book in at least a year (which surprises me; I would have expected it to be more like two-thirds have not read a book).

The frustration of having ADHD, meds, and being beholden to uncaring bullshit condensed into a BSky thread.

I think people in the Czech Republic read a lot? Oh my, I'm so jealous ... :3

Lol? About 60 % of Poles haven't read at least ONE book in the previous year - I always thought America is in comparison quite well-read???

Apparently I was wrong 😭😭😭😭😭

I kinda wonder how many books he reads in a year... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

His run-on sentences, constant interjections of insults, and odd choice to parenthetically insert “clarifying” words are much higher on my list of language offenses.

I just... Personally, I don't like the way the word sounds. There are alternatives that are much more easthethically pleasing? :) at least in my book.

Also... Why he did put "(closed!)" after "blockaded"??? He thinks we don't know the meaning...? XD

Oddio, aiutarmi, per favore xD

But I also think, with Trump it's always SHOUTING, LIBERAL FAKE NEWS MEDIA and "thank you for your attention to this matter". He seems deeply illiterate both in English and in politics ... =_='

Im not saying that this verb does not exist, but... It has no "vibes" of a pretty language. Plus, with Trump, I honestly don't know if he knows something can be "blocked" (which, in this case, could improve the aesthetics of the communicate).

It's not only definitions, it's also prettiness.

Blockaded???

What type of Ingrish is that???

I learned English in school as a foreign language and it's better than this... "Elite" the President is... :/

When I say I'm in the UK and it's much easier for me to get my HRT on time you know this shit is completely fucked

Note that this only gets me the slip that authorizes me to get the meds from a pharmacy. If the pharmacy I take it to is out of the meds, I either have to then take it to another pharmacy and hope that they have some, or I get to eat shit.

If I submit the refill request too early, it'll get turned down. If I submit the refill request too late, I'll run out before I can get the slip.

But apparently if I submit the refill request at the exact time they recommend, I'll STILL run out before I can get the slip.

So to get the ADHD meds, I have to submit a refill request to the prescribing nurse, who has to mail the slip to a place down the hill, but she doesn't tell me if it's been sent and the place down the hill doesn't tell me if it's arrived. Only THEN may I take the slip to a pharmacy.

and "merely"

Ever notice how much bigotry hides behind the word "simply"? "People called me out simply because I said trannies should be outlawed."
