Took me forever to remember what the coaxial surge protector is as a device class. I recalled having one of these but not its specific function. I think I've gained some ground finally remembering and identifying these devices.
They make other units that seem to be better though.
I don't think I've ever seen them do this "external light sources separate from the rest of the freeform circuit assembly" trick but it's really something. Looks bright!
Wander over to the original post and heap your admiration! I demand this!

hill_cape over on Twitter has done it again. I've become a big fan of this artist's clocks.
Looking back, this Geevon clock I looked at during the course of this investigation I failed to notice that this clock's font swatch is identical to that of a GPU benchmarking readout.
I like how they have a whole separate peripheral for interfacing specifically with the pokéball.

One period of deranged, rabid, reflexive racism against Arabic peoples during my lifetime was already one too many. Two is just plain egregious.
Many doctors in the developing world are stymied by a lack of tools expected in a western hospital. So can one build these tools for cheap and make the plans available online?

What makes these chips unorthodox and super-niche is that they're Forth-based chips. They have a whole ecosystem and Forth dialect (ArrayForth 3) and to date I have no clue what applications GA144 chips are being put towards.
It's a long way from the popular microcontroller ecosystems of today.
I'd made plans to get one of these things many, many years ago. Sales even contacted me suggesting that they were ready to take my order but unfortunately my life was in chaos at the time so I was never able to make a move on one.
One other piece of hardware that I've long wanted to play with is the EVB002 evaluation board for the GA144 microprocessor from GreenArrays. Unfortunately the cost of entry into this super niche hardware is a blistering $1295.00 USD. Also they're possibly out of stock, maybe never to be restocked.
Cleaning is not a job to be done while on opioids. Wrong mentality. Cleaning is a classic stimulants job. I can see definite potential for cleaning here and there. None of it is too tricky it's just a whole lot of clutter that has to be cleared out.
Thinking I'd like to get into SDR. Only problem there is that this apartment has severe clutter/storage issues so I'm gonna have to table the matter until the cast is off and I can use both feet to steady myself while picking things up. As is I can't do shit.
Also stimulants. Need to take those.
I havent heard anyone really talking about this. So I just wanted to say that if you want a wireless controller for the n64, the 8bitdo mod kit paired with the 8bitdo n64 receiver is really good. I dont notice lag, I didnt replace the stick so that feels nice, rumble works, and the dongle has memory
Having a parent with significant hearing loss is an irksome problem, particularly one who was already disinclined to listen. Gets to a point where it becomes thoroughly infuriating but getting mad about it is mostly futile and not worth it.
Getting ads on Twitch for a phone that does speech to text on a big-ass LCD. And I know exactly why, it's because my Ma can't hear jack shit. Unfortunately she doesn't have a landline or even home VoIP service. She canceled all that shit when Dad died and does everything over her iPhone.
If these jackals want any true statements out of me then they best be forthcoming with the cash. I expect to be paid for my time. Cold callers can chew on bamboo fragments as far as I am concerned.
Spam calls on my phone been crazy lately. Pretty sure it's due to the impending primary elections. I answered one recently out of curiosity and it was some kind of opinion push poll. Told 'em I was a convicted felon and unable to vote, then I hung up. Not a true statement, but fuck 'em anyway.
Frankly, if I were to make a hack at such a thing I'd probably want to mate it to a full computer with some kind of OLED or LCD readout and some controls. That's not the tricky part. The tricky part is finding $5000.00 to pay Microchip for a CSAC package. That's the rough part.
Maybe combine all those bits with one of these beam splitter quartz cubes and I'd bring this thread full circle into a very dodgy little clock or watch.
The harder part by far would be integrating it all, building a case, and ultimately constructing the watch. Also testing, I'd need to learn a lot to do the testing.
Granted, after all these days of obsessive research I rather imagine I could clap together at least a parts list to create a similar watch. Sourcing a cesium or rubidium CSAC package would be the hard part. The other "big" component would just be a GNSS module to help do the synchronization.
Kinda sad I missed that Kickstarter. Unfortunately I had different priorities 12 years ago in 2014, most of them having everything to do with trying not to go insane.
I guess if they can put rubidium on a single package then these days it's potentially possible to do the same with cesium. I haven't actually looked into the matter of cesium integrated circuit packages so I guess that's an inquiry I can make for tonight.
