I saw a headline from some local news channel that “Apple” changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, and I was angry at them for the blatant falsehood. GOOGLE maps made this change. Apple Maps still says Gulf of Mexico. (I just checked AGAIN.)
