We were dogsitting her bff for the weekend and now she’s sad that her friend went back home 😭

I pleaded with them to make the first one 7 or 8 hours per day 3 days a week instead of 4 hours M-F. I could easily hire someone part-time to work 3 full days per week. It would be an impossibility to get someone to drive to work 5 days a week to do 4 hours at a time. Stupid and nonsensical.

I was managing procedural departments at 4 locations. First they added 4 hours of procedures per day at one location… who am I going to hire to work 4 hours M-F??? Then they added 52 hours of procedures at another location and wouldn’t let me hire *anyone* new to cover it. NO THANKS, BYE

Final note — my 9x13 pot pies took about an hour to cook. The part of the puff pastry that’s in contact with the filling will take longer to crisp up, so don’t be surprised. Just cover the edges and it will eventually get there.

6) Pour mixture into pie crusts and top with a circle of puff pastry just larger than the crust. Beat an egg and brush onto the surface.

7) Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown. If the edges get too dark too quickly, cover with aluminum foil and keep baking until done
