Oh the irony here when Trump is abusing his own powers to silence those who protest against him. You really couldn't make this up!

Coroner calls for circumcision safety measures after baby’s death in London Six-month-old Mohamed Abdisamad’s death from infection prompts concern at lack of training for circumcisers

There's a simple answer here - make circumcisions for under 18s who can't give informed consent illegal except for medical reasons. This form of mutilation is no different from FGM. www.theguardian.com/society/2026...

Israeli naval forces board pro-Palestinian flotilla 75 miles from Gaza Greta Thunberg arrested and taken into custody after six of the flotilla’s boats were boarded

As this happened in international waters, surely it isn't an arrest as much as it is either kidnapping or piracy. I really do hope the international community (and our own government) condemn this. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/o...

ABC excluded from Trump’s UK press conference as British officials deny any link to recent clash with Australian journalist Australia’s national broadcaster told by Downing Street that accreditation cancelled for ‘logistical reasons’ as other international outlets also denied entry

Possibly a controversial view but I do think that with the measures above that motorway speed limits should also be safely increased to 80 MPH to match the 130 km/h limit on similar roads in many other countries.

Scrapping smart motorways and putting hard shoulders back would be a massive step in the right direction too.
