My friend Patrick G. Lee is seeking funding to finish his amazing feature-length documentary of queer trans life in Seoul. I've been talking about it with him for years, it is exciting to see it so close to done. Please consider a pledge. seedandspark.com/fund/kqt#story
An arrow trope image where several elements point to a central cover. The cover features a masc person and a child stand in a city street with their back to the viewer. The child is pointing towards a flock of birds swooping through the sky. The entire cover is in tones of blue, and it is clearly set in winter. The surrounding information includes: the evil scientist who betrayed ols community, fixing what’s broken / aftermath story, three arospec leads with messy relationships to romance, the chaos of a six cats household, may contain Baker Thief characters, the gender feels of choosing a body for yourself, fantasy city and spring traditions inspired by Quebec City
Releasing a book on my birthday, as one does ✨
Aromantic fantasy novel set in my Quebec inspired setting, with a very unusual found family (FLOCK IS A METAPHOR) and compulsory romance as the villain.

Photo of a Japanese dude smiling. His hair is fluffy, aspiring to Takahashi Ran's level of casual floof
A comic panel that's a worm's eye view comic panel of someone on a skateboard in a south Chicago neighborhood in winter. We can see the bottom of their board and their shoes, and slush on the street. The caption reads, "Then."
Part of a comic page from the webcomic KEEPING TIME. Panel 1: A close up of Stef, the bassist, his eyes closed beneath his baseball cap. Stark, evenly spaced together lines of music denote the even strumming of his bass guitar. Panel 2: Denver plays a chord far up the neck of his Gibson Les Paul, frowning slightly. The lines symbolizing his music swing wildly from high to low. Panel 3: Finally, the drummer, is grinning as he plays the drums, his music lines broken up in a staccato pattern. Beneath all his scruffy beard stubble, his giant grin is wide enough to make up for how neither of his bandmates weren't smiling at all.
A panel from the webcomic KEEPING TIME. In the foreground, a blond punk with a neck tattoo lifts the lid of a dumpster, while two figures stand behind him. He says, "Oh. I mean, I dropped in on the pizza place next door for a slice, too."
おっす! I'm Kody, and being trans is interwoven in every aspect of my life and work. I make KEEPING TIME, a longform webcomic about two (cis) guys who, after years of estrangement reunite, start a band, and - for better or worse - fall in love.

Probably foolish but I waited til the end of the Mar 7-14 Amazon boycott to login to pull my book out of Kindle Unlmited. So.... if you want to read it there, grab it NOW, coz come Monday it’s GONE. It’s a sporty, flirty romance between a woman and a nonbinary person www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...
Today, What Wakes the Bells, my debut novel, is unleashed upon the world! It’s wild I can say that. Especially since this book has been mine for a long time. I got the idea in 2019, wrote the first draft in 2020, sold it to F&F in 2022, and now it’s not really mine anymore. It’s a book I wish I had for myself as a teen but it also helped me figure out who I am as an adult. What Wakes the Bells won’t be for everyone, but for some it will be everything. And that’s enough for me.
Today, What Wakes the Bells, my debut novel, is unleashed upon the world!

The Publishers Marketplace announcement for my next project, a picture book called LOVE LOOKS LIKE LOLA, which features an aroace central character.
Here’s what’s next: an aroace picture book! LOVE LOOKS LIKE LOLA is one of the first (if not THE first) aspec picture book so I am incredibly proud this is happening. I can’t wait to share it with y’all.
An *incredible* honor to receive this award 1) curated by indie booksellers (!) and 2) named for the late great Octavia E. Butler (!!). To receive this for such a trans & genderqueer & feminist novel, as our communities fight for survival, means more than I can say. Thank you. Gracias. Venceremos 💜🏳️⚧️
A graphic with Common Bonds 2 colours and elements (orange leaves, blue wool) and a progress bar that has five sections, marked with numbers from 500 to 0. The leaves fill it completely and there is a big FUNDED across it
And here is the progress bar fully filled up !!
COMMON BONDS 2 is OFFICIALLY FUNDED!! We still have until March 10 to hit our stretch goals, but no matter what, this is going to be a reality!
Thank you all so much for the hype and backings, and also for making this happen to day so I can sleep XD
Book cover art for Name Her Holy by Aubrey Ennis. The cover has two women standing against a starry twilight background with a pale sun. At the forefront Kye stands facing forward, one hand held up with a cold flame and billowing black smoke. She is wearing dark purple robes with a high color and gold accents. She has dark wavy brown hair that comes to her chin, tan skin covered in light scars, and pale gray eyes. Behind her Jude stands in profile, a head taller than Kye. She is in leather armor stamped with meadow floral designs, holding a golden sword etched with light oak leaves. Jude is white, has long auburn hair in a braid with an undercut at the sides. She has a long scar across her nose and freckles on her cheeks. The sun rises behind her. A border of flowers and stars creates an arch above them with a deep purple background. Tropes listed around the cover are: sapphic space fantasy, get in loser we’re going to fight god, trans sword lesbian, chronically ill chosen one, literal sun/moon sword/sheild lesbians, super slooow burn

Social Skills Training by Solmaz Sharif Studies suggest How may I help you officer? is the single most disarming thing to say and not What's the problem? Studies suggest it’s best the help reply My pleasure and not No problem. Studies suggest it’s best not to mention problem in front of power even to say there is none. Gloria Steinem says women lose power as they age and yet the loudest voice in my head is my mother. Studies show the mother we have in mind isn’t the mother that exists. Mine says: What the fuck are you crying for? Studies show the baby monkey will pick the fake monkey with fake fur over the furless wire monkey with milk, without contest. Studies show to negate something is to think it anyway. I’m not sad. I’m not sad. Studies recommend regular expressions of gratitude and internal check-ins. Enough, the wire mother says.
