It’s a picture of my book.
It’s publication day for ‘How to Lay an Egg with a Horse Inside’.
It’s a book, by me.
It contains some poems.
You can get it in bookshops.
Err, that’s it.

Started teaching physics in 1992 at the start of a 32 year career. Spent the last 16 of these as the headteacher in 3 mainstream schools and a large cross-phase PRU. Retired from full time leadership in 2024 and now use experience to support schools and leaders.

Good morning 😊
A quieter day ahead so hopefully I can get through some admin stuff that has been slowly building up 👍🏽
The first week back in teaching, after a break, can feel exhausting so pace yourself as much as possible 👍🏽
Have a wonderful Orange Wednesday people 🧡
Hi all,
Year 11 GCSE Speaking Exams start today. Coincidentally, this is also the day they start work building the new extension to the science labs, the resurfacing of the Sports Hall car park, the KS3 yodelling competition and they’ll be cutting the grass on the football pitches, too.
Thanks x

The Scientology building in milan
Passed the Scientology building on the way to a parkrun in Milan this morning. This evangelising cult with thousands of obsessive adherents worldwide was started in bushy park in London and arranges free, friendly 5k events every Saturday.

Thank you so much. We love you. Pop music is important. X
Michael Collins, the chap who took this photograph, remains the only person on earth to have taken a photo that had everyone in shot aside himself.
If Artemis is going up then it gives me an excuse to once again post this photo, the only one to contain every human being in the universe but one.

A MAJOR disadvantage of being self-employed is that when you write pointless letters to Viz during the workday, it wastes your own time rather than your employer's. Moreover, you're not getting paid while doing it. It just goes to show that it's one rule for global conglomerates and another for one-man or one-woman outfits.
