Wago has that look in his eye that suggests reason has left him. Meanwhile Shakti has been thrown into the Angel Halo but instead of manipulating the battlefield as instructed her waves are falling on Earth?

Alright Marbet's baby they were hinting at causing Fuala to hesitate in dealing the final blow is kinda hype but also a little lol. Fuala is dead! I was hoping for a little more from her but alas, her feud with Uso was a little one sided.

As Victory Gundam enters its final episodes we once again have infighting amongst the conquering nation. To add to the troubles it seems Maria's psychobeam has infantilized the solar system! Episode title is the "The Women's Battlefield". Lord knows what this show means by that.

It's been another rough few episodes for Uso. Most recently Maria's first go at the Angel Halo had him remembering the deaths of his companions and other terrifying memories. If they put Shakti behind the wheel of that shit it's gonna be trouble! Kind of a Cerebro situation.

Oh wow! Fuala's eyes look like bells. Outside of MSs she might have the coolest design in Gundam!

She met Uso in combat and he was genuinely terrified of her. Good! He deals her MS a fatal blow. She flies off and finds Pippenden just as she explodes! Hard to tell her intent here but it seemed taking him out with her was on purpose. Good riddance to all involved, I say.

Ah so I guess the plan is to use the Angel's Halo to have Queen Maria (or maybe someone else?) throw her feel good newtype juice all over Earth, and maybe also populated space. A lot of this has been kept secret from the Zanscare public and even the BESPA fleet.

We also got a surprise appearance from Uso’s dad. Much like Mrs. Ewing he seems torn by the way he’s brought up Uso. He cares a lot for his son but seems primarily focused on the war and will continue to throw his son into conflict.

Been watching more on the couch which makes posting hard. The crew has returned to space after an assault by a returning Fuara! She gets an awesome looking MS as well as a neat bell gimmick that has interesting practical uses and a terrifying association with executions.

Sooo I’ve got the first volume of the manga on my wishlist but it’s gonna be a very long time before I get to enjoy the end of Thunderbolt. At least with the manga I can skip the Jazz. I don’t like jazz!

I haven’t mentioned that I’ve now seen Bandit Flower for the simple reason that I didn’t know Thunderbolt as both a manga and anime are unfinished! Bandit Flower was pretty high quality but definitely felt like an in between episode and of course ends on a huge plot addition.

Typos all over these last posts. That’s what I get for doing it at 7am with a towel still around my waist. I have more thoughts about Newtype Heaven too but I guess it’ll wait.

With the cease-fire still active and the remaining vengeful BESPA combatants defeated everyone is finally given a chance to bury their dead and oh my god there's like 12 graves. This shot would be the final one in any other show but there's still 11 episodes left!

Next episode is... more mini tragedy! This time Duker Iq Color Scheme #4 dreams of a peaceful Earth he can bring his family to. He fights hard and Uso tries to save him but he dies in combat. Uso finds a new level to the V2's power. He can use the wings to disable MSs! Handy!

Anyway, I don't think Victory is saying that. This was just taking advantage of your setting to provide a little mini-tragedy and yeah it hurts every time. Odela got a kiss from his best girl for killing them folks so that's nice I guess.

I can only call it Newtype heaven because the gang literally observes their ghosts leaving the exploded BESPA thingy on his dream of returning to the life of a Biker. Later her dream of a cabin on Earth is also realized. Hate when media goes "look being dead is kiiiinda dope tho".

Gundam occasionally will present a tragic short story by providing some character to previously known but unrealized characters. Duker Iq and Renda have themselves a little romance before a raging Odela blows them both up. Them of all people go to Newtype Heaven.

ALL the wars toll on the Earth has been a constant point in Gundam and rightfully so! I didn't mention but in recent battles MANY MS suit nuclear cores have gone off, resulting in untold environmental damage. Even as our characters discuss this Uso uses a nuke blast to gain an advantage in combat.
