An advert for Nike of a photo of an ominous looking road in the mist with bare trees on the right, and writing underneath saying: 'Just do it. Run. Because of what's out there'.

An advert for Nike of a photo of an ominous looking road in the mist with bare trees on the right, and writing underneath saying: 'Just do it. Run. Because of what's out there'.

This advert by Nike will motivate anyone who's new year's resolution is to get fit:

Deadline to record historic footpaths to be scrapped Walking campaigners welcome the move, which the government says will help prevent paths from being lost.

Today’s footpaths announcement is very welcome news and will ensure many miles of ancient paths are recorded, thereby preserving their use for future generations.

Much more needs to be done to allow for responsible access across England - both on land and water.

It's Wren Day or Hunt The Wren Day. Wrenboys caught a wren & placed it on top of a staff decorated with holly, ivy, ribbons, & paraded it around the neighbourhood. The wrenboys were typically dressed in straw masks, greenery or colourful clothing; sang songs & played music for money to bury the wren

What a shame. I do hope it comes to good use in the end, and the project doesn’t falter. At least it’s not being demolished I suppose…

But in the case of Dead Man's Fingers (Xylaria polymorpha)
Well... I think it's pretty clear what they are getting at!
