I understand why she said he has an alcoholic’s personality. Untreated alcoholics display many of the same traits as narcissists. Grandiosity, inability to accept responsibility, revenge seeking etc. Working a thorough recovery corrects that in a willing person. True story!

Childhood trauma and plain old predisposition are the gateway to alcohol and other substance use disorders. Alcoholism is far worse than weed use. I don’t use any substance because I am not able to stop once I do. But, many use cannabis safely.
