Teach it - Promote it - Create it - you are responsible for the continuation of the culture you love. Keep it alive through your actions.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

I recommend listening to this conversation—it reinforces that the arts are at the heart of human expression. If more people recognized how essential the arts are to our well-being, we’d live fuller lives—and artists would be paid what they’re worth.

Ages 0-4 are the most important, emotionally & intellectually, in human development.

Yet, in the US, we have a very high rate of childhood poverty and a broken child care system.

Congratulations to New Mexico for leading the way forward for high quality, free child care. Other states must follow.

Alan K. Simpson, a Folksy Republican Force in the Senate, Dies at 93 A plain-spoken lawmaker from Wyoming, he balanced his conservative views with moderate stands on abortion rights, gay marriage and immigration reform.

Although controversial times, I followed his career & loved his spunk & spirit. Got to spend an evening w/him back in 2018 in Laramie during the 25th anniversary gala of the UWY Art Museum and opening of a new installation by @sharonlouden.bsky.social --> what a life! www.nytimes.com/2025/03/14/u...
