Ever since 2016, I've been reflecting deeply on what I think the *right* number should be. 100% ? Or something less? Because, clearly, a lot of people take elections cavalierly and do zero research, or vote as their friend group does. I am loosely settling on somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4.

In my local area, prices jump up at the slightest hint of an oil supply concern, but decrease verrrryyyyy slowly after the concern is over. Whether that is from an act of God, or a political, military, or capitalistic origin. They always capture a markup when passing new expenses on to the consumer.

Sounds to me like, even though the oil supply may rebound, prices at the pump will remain high.
