For a while, it made reading difficult since I read all the time. I am quick at knowing if I like a book and can usually predict where most will go. But I've worked on turning off my editor brain and just enjoying it. If a book breaks through that switch, then it's usually one I don't like.

Since stepping down from my role as a literary agent, I struggled with reading. I felt too burned out to keep up my usual interest.
