I’ve spent less time on my phone lately, but mainly because I’m obsessed with Dreamlight Valley on my Switch. I’ve swapped one screen for another, but this one doesn’t have endless posts about the dumpster fire of a world we are currently living in. It has tasks I have to complete for Goofy.

I’m currently listening to After Story by Larissa Behrendt, and I’m really loving it. A dual narrative of an Australian mother and daughter on a literary tour of England; the characters are so well drawn and hearing each day from the perspective of both women packs a real punch.

I will watch Sleepless in Seattle whenever I come across it on the telly, no matter if it’s just started, is halfway through or coming to the end. I adore it.

It’s Agatha’s world and we’re just living in it.

Also, I’m having a great time with my bookstagram, which is another thing I’m trying to make less about the numbers and more about the fun!

My annual reading goal for many (many) years has been numerical - this year, the goals are to read widely, diversely, and for both fun and to open my mind. So I’ve gone with this, and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to tick off the other goals by this time next year.
