“Pancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial. Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later.”
This is why we should fund science. 🧪

I think about this all the time

loved a lot of aspects of it, the animation especially was amazing.
The background art too, its such a colourful and beautiful to look at movie.
The circumstances of its leak and release are maddening tho.
also hate how avatar is cursed to always be hated but whatever media company owns the rigths to it lel
on a positive note, the animation was amazing and I feel for all the artists who's work was disrespected both by paramount and the leak
It's so on the nose about everything.
We can't have an actual deep exploration of the gried aang feels bc we need cool sakuga action.
What really got me was Suki featured at the end, just having a short cameo. The audacity.
call me cynical but avatar the last airbender being turned into a franchise was always bad.
The movie is fine, but that's basically it. The animation is pretty don't get me wrong, but it feels very action focused for the sake of cool animation...
Sensory issues too
hearing others describe them as "painful" gives me such imposter syndrome, until I try to describe how I can't wear rings or use foils to remove nail polish, because it becomes painful.
There is something so funny about being late diagnosed autistic.
I have so much imposter syndrome about my social issues until I talk to that one friend who keeps telling me how much I suck at them.
This little devil's name is Persik (means Peach), he is a very naughty boy. Enjoy.

Im so fucking angry about the harassment artists get. I can’t string together anything coherent but if you’re an artist making call outs about OTHER artists because their fictional story is just a bit too icky in themes, the art you create will always be marred-

I felt so evil for making you guys do all that.
Doodle of my dnd character Astra (she/they). They are wearing a greek chiton, a winged mask that covers their eyes and winged sandals. Their hair is in a short ponytail. There's green goo on their face, blood all over their body and dirt stains covering their limbs and clothes. They are ugly crying beneath the mask.
That one time Astra got snail juice spat in their face... among other things

I'm a huge fan of star themed characters lmao
In general a huge fan of characters themed around celestial bodies.
Aelius (sun) and Altus (stars) technically came after Ozira. I made them in 2021, where I tried making tieflings for each colour.
I ended up with only 3.
First finished draft portrait.
Their name is Ozira.
Not sure yet what class to give them (since I have to figure out the entire party constellation still). But the first idea would be Seraph.

Currently redrawing a bunch of old D&D characters to be repurpsed for a solo Daggerheart campaign.
Have to figure out how to emulate a cleric...
radical love for living beings, the best kind of love
I genuinely love how easy they made it to onboard.
There is so many helpful little guides provided for you to print. Absolutely amazing.
😭🫠
its such aura
works especially great against very specific christians
I especially love the campaign frames.
I'm slowly coming around on Daggerheart.
Watched a live session yesterday at the local library and the mechanics are fun.
I love all the narrative features it has. It really feels like they looked at different systems and picked the best mechanics for what 5e players want.
And I fucking love it.
when you know the answer to something that has been fucking with you for so long... but the answer doesn't make it better.
