Pardon me if I am a boomerbrained gamer that is perfectly fine with "more starfox 64" but guess what, why fix what isn't broken?

I enjoy the hell out of replaying these games because they are designed to be memorable. If you remember stuff so much from the old stuff in the new, that's a good thing

Or how, god forbid, they reuse planets, base structures and visual queues from older games too- That's what an established franchise does you know! You don't complain about this stuff in Mario or Zelda, so why do it with Starfox, it's cherrypicking at it's finest.

I've been watching a couple more retrospectives on Starfox games, especially for Assault / Command / Zero and so many people complain about how these games borrow from 64...

Y'all realize that having enemies looking similar to the way they do in that game is just in universe canon right?

Starfox Assault is genuinely really dang good. Sure it's a linear story, sure some of the controls are weird to get used to but honestly it feels like a proper evolution of the series and I would've loved to see them continue in the direction.

I hope they can revive the series sometime
