Gotta love some freshly thrown bud vases! #pottery #vases #ceramics
A green vase with iron decoration in a zig zag pattern
I used a high iron glaze instead of slip for my dot design. I like how it ran with the glaze. #pottery #ceramics
Thank you! Yes, I agree they are better in person. And thanks for stopping by - it was nice to meet you :)
A green mug with pink liner glaze and a zig zag pattern made from carved lines and pink slip trailing
I’m really loving how this glaze interacts with my pink liner glaze! #pottery #ceramics
That’s a ton of glaze!!!
Oohh myyy that is quite something!!
A turquoise vase with a zig zag pattern made from carved lines and slip trailing
I’m finally getting the hang of pouring glaze for these big pots! I can’t dip them like I normally do because they are bigger than my buckets. #pottery #ceramics
Same!
It’s just the turquoise glaze interacting with the iron slip!
My favorite piece from my latest glaze firing. It’s different from my usual work, but I’m really digging the iron dots over the iron slip design! I love how it runs on the bottom most portion and inside, and how my turquoise glaze becomes almost opalescent #pottery #ceramics
Thank you! I’m hoping the trip will be worth it. At least I’ll get out of the cold!
Two mugs with zig zag patterns created by carved lines and slip trailing. The bottom one is turquoise and the top is purple
Freshly fired mugs! They will be coming with me to Florida for my first out of state art fairs. I’ll be in Sarasota Feb 7-8 and Gulfport Feb 14-15. #mugs #pottery #ceramics
Yea my clear liner glaze ends up brown too, which is what I sort of expected. I think it would look really nice unglazed so you get the expected color
Oh really?? I wonder why 🤔 it doesn’t seem like my glazes have any issues with this clay body. It’s SiO2’s black porcelain.
A light blue cup with white slip trailing and carved lines
First time trying black porcelain! It ended up coming out brown where the glaze broke. It’s definitely a different vibe than my usual white porcelain, and the glaze looks way different. #pottery #ceramics
Two sipper cups with pink slip trailing and carved zig zag lines in a turquoise glaze
A set of sippers from my first glaze firing of the year #pottery
A pencil drawing of a field and flowers
I’m taking a studio art class at the local community college. It’s a really nice way to work on some other forms of art! This was our ribbon drawing assignment. I think it came out looking pretty interesting! #drawing #flowers
Hmm I’m not quite sure yet. Probably my turquoise glaze
Yup! Fine tip needle applicator
I’ll have to post it when it’s fired!

A teardrop shaped vase with painted flowers in windows framed by slip trailing and carving
Thank you!
Dogwood vase! I’m going to be trying something besides slip trailing to finish it up 🤫 it will be very similar, though. I’m excited to continue working on this nature inspired series! #pottery #flowers #ceramics
An orange kitten sniffing a turquoise vase
Jack decided on a payment plan of cute pictures for being pesky and breaking one of my planters last night #pottery #cat
Thank youuu!
