Photos first because people leave weird reviews and I don't trust them. And reviews are opinions which are very subjective.
Congratulations from Apple on getting invited to Apple Park event on Monday for WWDC26
Yesssss! See you all in Cupertino in two months! 🤩 #WWDC26
I'll be there whole week, please say hi if you see me stumbling around 😊
I understand that, creating any kind of content, written or video, takes time, between work and life, it's time-consuming. If you ever decide to go that route, I'm always happy to help you in any way!
Thank you for that! I do enjoy writing, it's a creative outlet different than just writing code. From what I've gathered so far, people do still read/watch content and they enjoy it, more so than just asking AI to explain something.
Makes sense! Personally I could never stick to audio format, my mind always wonders and then I realize I've missed the last 10 minutes 😅 Thanks John!
SwiftUI is approachable at first, but in real-life projects it's easy to make mistakes that can compromise app stability and performance.
My new book "The SwiftUI Way" will help you recognize the most common anti-patterns and choose better alternatives: books.nilcoalescing.com/the-swiftui-...
Are people still reading technical blogs and watching videos? I'm re-thinking the space since everything revolves around AI and tooling.
Do you still like to consume content? Do you prefer reading or watching videos? What kind of topics? Interested to hear your opinions.
One of my favorite events alongside WWDC26 is back this year! If you're in town, come hang out, there will be events through the whole week!
Even if you don't get the golden ticket you'll very much enjoy their watch party!
Last year was a blast 🚀
Last week I wrote a guest article "Not Every Good Idea Belongs in Your App" for the Indie App Devs newsletter on how I decide which features are worth adding to my app and which ones I leave out, or save for later.

Nice! See you there!
My new #SwiftUI book is finally out 🎉
I wrote "The SwiftUI Way" for developers who feel like they are fighting the framework as projects grow in complexity. The book will help you align your code with SwiftUI's internal expectations to avoid common pitfalls: books.nilcoalescing.com/the-swiftui-...
A pixel wooden two-story house with a sloped roof, adorned with various decorations. The interior has furniture, lamps, and artwork. A character dressed in dark armor stands inside interacting with a glowing orb. From a game called Terraria.
Our yearly playthrough of Terraria. One of my favorite games of all time. A good combination of world exploration, building, fishing, and boss fighting. So fun and enjoyable every time.
I highly recommend it!

Hello spring! ☀️
Time for a new spring app icon to celebrate the season. With this one out, there's an app icon for every season!
Now if only spring came to Toronto... 🌧️
300 downloads! 🎉 Thanks everyone!!! Can we do 300 more?! 😉

"I got really excited that I had a problem I could translate into an app."
Love this mindset from @swifteves.bsky.social on the new Launched episode. He saw a need for a "HealthKit for kids" and built Pediapal to solve his own problem.

Makes sense! I think I spend too much time messing with spacings and aligning everything perfectly that for me it's easier to just do it in code 😅
Well said! Thank you 😊
Kind of you to say that Dan, thank you! It would probably take me the same amount of time 😅 I also obsess over every single pixel.
You're designing the app UI in Sketch? I somehow find it easier to just do in SwiftUI directly.
No, I just go straight to Sketch 😅
But I have been thinking about this recently, drawing it by hand on an iPad and then creating it in Sketch
I’m not a designer, and definitely not an expert in Sketch, but I’ve always enjoyed drawing. My basic skills get me where I need to go.
While AI could generate app icons in minutes, I genuinely love designing them myself, and that’s something I’m not ready to give up yet.
