My group loves Fabula Ultima's Inventory Points!
But we hate what it has done to our relationship with the physical game world. Nobody wants to find "Inventory Points."
The unfortunate trick to every inventory management solution that isn't "literally never think about it at all" or "actually manage the inventory" is that they've all got a weighty and deep conceptual tax that will slowly sap enjoyment for an audience who would otherwise enjoy them.
E.g.:
Of society's many cruel depredations, perhaps the most core and vulgar is its capacity to deprive you of a friend.
Because when society is greater than loyalty and human connection, any social cause can be abolished with time. You can be turned against any group by evil people with enough guile.

I have lots of thoughts on the "need" to "solve" flight but the fact that Daggerheart is so deep on your ancestry/customization thereof is held in very, very funny juxtaposition to the fact that having wings IS A CLASS! And it's PALADIN! I think someone was too deep in 5e theory crafting honestly.
What even is it?
No more so their transition out of personal into corporate brand. And the extent to which they kept the same fundamental appeal.

We often theory craft traitor scenarios in game theory, yeah? "If one person is trying to betray them."
But in larger team environments with multiple traitors, games like Avalon/Resistance, they do teamwork and strategic falls wordlessly.
Imagine if you had ~453 players and ~213 traitors...

Sadly, saying yes to a few players about the additional content for Fabula Ultima has poisoned the chalice over time for me to the point where I am dissociating while trying to run combat in ways I haven't since LANCER. Death by a thousand cuts and too deeply engrained to back up.
