A terraced park reaching all the way from the Cira Green to the water. The more I think about this crazy idea the more I like it. 125 feet high, 400 feet long, the grade of a normal staircase.

Is this really so much to ask for?

I don't understand the AI issue of sometimes just ignoring refinement. Even programs that specialize in images. I just want a good image of a cable car going between the zoo and the art museum.

hate parking garages but if you're gonna build one, public plaza, ground floor retail, green roof, and even rooftop commercial is a pretty good way to do it. Stadiums take note.

As of now yes but with the Washington Ave Connector finally under construction, the movie theater being redone, and the planned South Philly Transit Center, it won't be as isolated. Plus theoretically once this is underway other nearby projects will want to join in the fun.

The CDR materials include a "Future Phases" section. With 20 units per floor the front building is 620 units, the one behind it is 860, and the one to its left is 700. 2180 total!

Their South Philly neighborhood was everything they wanted. With a baby on the way, they renovated Determined to stay in South Philly with a baby on the way, Danielle and Jonah Abrams made their 1,000-square-foot house into a family home.

Was happy to show off how we’re continuing to adapt our home as our family grows so that we can stay in the city in perpetuity. share.inquirer.com/I90ekd

The cost of affordable housing: Does it pencil out? Building affordable housing is not particularly affordable.

This tool from the @urbaninstitute.bsky.social is genuinely fun and interesting to play around with:

By championing the business and policy of Energy Efficiency for over 30 years, my dad has successfully kept more CO2 from our atmosphere than you or I can even imagine. This lifetime achievement award is well deserved.

Does that mean there’s gonna be a transit station right next to four car dealerships? Cause if so the residential should be expanded into them as well.

A consolidated transit hub and adequately funded system, plus serious up-zoning, would easily create a thriving "Downtown North Philly" on these >200 acres of vacant/car lot.

This is 3 blocks from what should be a thriving transit hub at North Philadelphia Station if we only cared about our city.

I assume this means Taylor will be on the next Eagles Christmas album. An entirely Taylor produced album for charity would be apt as well.

Being delayed over an hour wouldn’t be as bad if you knew it ahead of time but updates every 20 minutes that it’s delayed another 20 minutes is torture, especially when there’s zero shade. Nationalize the freight companies!

If the section between 11th & 12th has to have a giant hole in it, and 7 lanes of Vine St aren't dieted, the "park" there will be useless. Extend the Rail Park over the whole thing and then ramp down and envelop the long parking lots on the other side.
