One of the most famous mosasaurs, Tylosaurus proriger, submerges after taking a breath. It is dark above and light below, as tentatively suggested by some palaeocolour data. The challenges of interpreting scaly reptile palaeocolour, and the tiny scraps of colour data we have for this animal, preclude much confidence in chromatic interpretations of this species, however. Also, if you stare at this long enough, you'll see a few sharks. No foolin'.

Been thinking marine-reptiley thoughts today. Here's one of my latest #paleoart efforts along that line: Tylosaurus proriger. The colour is based on fossil colour data, although it's far from certain that this animal was black and countershaded.

Behold Arachnocampa luminosa, aka the New Zealand glowworm. The larval forms use their blue-green bioluminescence to lure prey into silk snares (meanwhile, the adults take the form of tiny gnats).

however !!!!!!! at least i can buy samples and seconds and such from their studio account on ig w/o extra taxes.... whenever they actually POST something in my SIZE anyway,,,,,

but also ough good material and good shit and i do require more of their stuff now so i am scheming on so many different levels to try and get their clothes to me in a way where i can just pay for the clothing & no extra taxes because PLSSSS

the only thing that sucks ass about this company is that they're a small company based in the uk (w/ their owner living in & keeping their studio in spain, mind you) & they do Not have VAT/taxes sorted so i did have to pay hella extra on my order, which was already xpensive

just going on about this again because i've realized that this has done a number for me feeling good about not wearing binders or sports bras all of the time because i have these cute asf tops to wear instead, even when i sometimes still have moments of "oh, how much boob is too much" ghdfhdf

i've found a company that makes tops that allow me to go bra free wearing them while still feeling supported n shit and i cannot begin to tell you how much i'm living off it rn??? like. having these tops has unlocked something in how i feel in that it feels GREAT and i need MORE and i - AH
