A few months ago I bought a telescope and trying my hand at astrophotography. After a few weeks of studying manuals and you tube university this is my first real attempt at an image. The UFO galaxy or NGC 2683 from my severely light polluted back yard.
There is something strangely satisfying about watching a roomba go back and forth while eating ramen.
I shot this about 15 years ago in Cameron, LA, USA. This is a place called the old river that for this part of the world had a strong tidal influence that made shrimping possible without the use of a boat. These small barges are now all gone due to hurricane damage. #photography#blackandwhite#film
