no i dont think frisk/kris had those powers originally and its the soul (you) that gives them that. but im just saying that the soul isnt the ONLY thing that could give you powers of reset/save/load

well not specifically the soul but the determination in the soul. and i assume frisk/kris’s souls arent usually that determined/it aint their soul

so i assume its just the overwhelming amount of determination

i think anyone would get beat if the person you are fighting is a time traveler and can just try the fight over and over and over and over
