Every single last little thing about human life, decisions, structures, organisations, rules is... entirely and completely made up. Every journalist in Britain treated the entire Brexit vote and outcome as if discussing the laws of physics. But it really isn't like that.

Mail is running a poll on whether the UK should rejoin the EU.

Takes seconds to vote and it's going hilariously well...

Oh for goodness sake, please get some kind of perspective on this. You do realise that one of his predecessors once wore a tan suit?

If you return unwanted Reform local election leaflets to their party headquarters using their free post address, then it will cost the party £2.50 per envelope.

Please don’t share this information; it could cost Nigel Farage a fortune.

The end of Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime is a victory not just for Hungary, but for people who value democracy around the world. Congratulations to Tisza, to incoming leader Péter Magyar, and to Hungarians everywhere.

The answer is implicit in the question: Putin has ownership over both countries.

I misunderstood. My apologies.

Fine, we will leave things there, the linked post does actually talk about British Naturism, it mentions it three times, so clearly I've misunderstood something.

Yes, there's been a real move away from the core of naturism in the language, the campaigning and the online discussions in British Naturism in the past few years. I'm a member of the BN exec and need to find more spare time to put a counter-argument. It's really not great.

The reason why this is important is that in a close, three-way contest the outcome could have been influenced by Labour choosing a different candidate.

And it's ALSO important because no juggling of the Green / Labour votes could have let Reform slip in between the two.

Labour’s worst fears realised by Greens’ victory in Gorton and Denton byelection Result shows progressive voters they have an alternative to Labour against Reform UK, and reveals task ahead for Starmer

"But for Starmer, Labour’s distant third place..."

I do really despair about your journalism sometimes @theguardian.com. It was clearly a three-way contest, Labour were only 3.3 percentage points behind Reform.

Child sex abuse allegations covered up by Church in Wales, says report Four archbishops of Wales are referred to in a report which lists a

This is one of the saddest and most upsetting stories I've read about the church, been thinking about the victims all day, the mum struggling to do her best in memory of her son.

I left the Anglican Church because of all this, and just hope it isn't being forgotten.

Well... there's always the very very slim chance he could bring out Trump and Putin's involvement in all of this. I'd be feeling a bit better disposed to him if he brought those two down!

I'm really looking forward to speaking at the Literary Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon (one of my favourite places in the world) on Saturday 9 May. I'm also excited to be the interviewer for two other events: in conversation with Tom Service, and with writers Stephen Rutt & Rose George. Book now!

Yes... and he's also been arrested, which now supersedes the church's authority and processes.

But it does sound like safeguarding did what they are supposed to do in this instance.

Well the poll is from five weeks ago. I'm going to hazard a guess his rating hasn't risen since then :-)

Pleased to see you and Vian enjoying the sun, you'll be glad to know you didn't miss any at all back in the UK :-)

Isn't it also saying it can now use your content in any way it wants to? The first bit about using it to train AI is one thing, but I reckon it can also simply distribute your content however it sees fit in future. Terrifying over-reach!

I used to work for H&E magazine, my first ever job in 1990-91, and we sure got plenty of those types of pics posted to us back then.

What I really feel icky about now are the many wide-angle selfies that seem to be prevalent. Some are SO obviously contrived.

Yes, although I do know and deeply respect a lot of national naturist leaders and organisers.

But on a general level yes you've identified a real threat. In the UK it takes its most vocal form with people shouting down and criticising the very notion of set-aside, communal naturist places.

2 months ago 0 0 1 0

Horrible. I had to explain to a forum of committed UK naturists recently why it was unacceptable to show "naturist" pics of people having showers, or even lying naked on a bed.
So disappointing.

These Reform UK MPs are hypocrites.
