It is SO good and I keep thinking about it, months after finishing it. Will there be a sequel or series or another book set in that world?
I am also an exvangelical (grew up in it and left at 18) who resisted horror for many decades, only to fully embrace it now. This essay gave me so much to think about - thank you for always putting this stuff into words! It helps so much.

And it is a delight! Truly one of the best books I've read in a while.
1 can (14 oz.) drained and chopped artichoke hearts, 1 cup grated parmesan, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 clove minced garlic. Mix, put into a smallish baking dish, sprinkle with more parm. Bake at 350° 20-25 mins (until golden on top). This never misses!!!
