To celebrate Mother's Day of 2020, the official Japanese Sonic Twitter account released artwork of Cream, Vanilla, Cheese, and Chocola.

This was the first time Vanilla had appeared in any piece of official media (save for licensed comics) since Sonic Rush, beyond being mentioned at the time.

That kinda means Mephiles or Black doom is Satan 😭

Shadow the Hedgehog is the Sonic equivalent of Jesus Christ.

This is evident by the fact that he sacrificed himself to save the people who scorned him for his very existence, at the request of his ascended family, and then soon after rose from the dead, leaving his "tomb".
