Everytime I hear someone go on about how tough and amazing gen x is, all I think is "we drank out of hoses, we probably all have brain damage from drinking potable water".

Sorry but its exhausting hearing my generation go on and on about how amazing we are. We aren't amazing. Our generation is why the US is a fucked up as it is.

But after the 2024 election I refuse to do it anymore. Im tired of being under a political system where I dont even get to vote for who I want, that Im expected to vote the way someone orders me to.

I am tired of voting out of fear. Tired of doing what others want only to end up loosing anyway.

Once again we are approaching an election where there is a mob telling people who they need to vote for or else the Republicans will win. To that mob, I want you to go fuck yourselves. I said it after 2024, my entire life has been "vote for this one or the bad people will win" and I have done it.

The game is never going to be remade. I have no intention of selling or sharing it. But it has allowed me to recreate something I love and make it possible that I can keep playing the game forever.

I know there is hate for AI and I agree that it shouldn't be used to make things to sell or replace jobs. But it does have some amazing personal uses.

There is a 35 year old DOS game called Shadow President. Ive been able to walk claude through recreating the game playable in a browser.

For example there is a point where a mission appears that you need to jump on a dragons back and pull an arrow out. Why is the player doing that? Just because. Does it tie into the story or anything else in the game no. Its just there.

The more I play Crimson Desert the more issues I see. Chapter in 9 dreadful. The idea of camp missions sounds good, in practice its not great. There is way too much random stuff.
