It’s also well established in the current climate and across history that people will vote for, take action, and think in ways that are temporarily in their own interest, regardless of the broader consequences

This morning, Salt Lake protested Utah real estate company THE RITCHIE GROUP, which is selling a warehouse to ICE for use as a concentration camp.

UOA didn't organize the event, but we brought our large letters to say “RITCHIE GROUP = ICE ABUSE”!!

Contact the Group and tell them what you think!

We still have the “homeless campus” to reckon with, but this is a very welcome wrench in ICE’s future in Utah.

More training won’t work because they know exactly the kinds of people they hired. They know their motivations. They’re doing exactly what they want them to do.
