Don't be afraid of calling bullshit, however challenge ideas, not people. Don't make it personal.

Due to our solid connections we found a much better spot just 2 blocks away. Problem solved in under a day, and I *refuse* to ever host a show again at the old venue. Professionalism and respect matter.

Had a venue knowingly book over our event and found out with less than a week to the event, and all they said is "my bad" with zero attempt to make things right. Worse, they screwed us on contract negotiation trying to make it so we'd effectively have to pay *them* to host shows there... Nope, next!

At music festivals I see MOOP the way Hailey Jo Osment sees dead people. How's about we start a trend this year to respect our home planet better and #demoopthefests ?

My loathing for the incessant posting rat race has me thinking the optimal strategy for artists is:

(a) Be genuine and authentic in how we share with the world.

(b) Post with intention, not compelled by outside forces but rather because you truly have something to say. Quality over quantity.

Do something kind for someone today. 🌻
