They "stole"? Do you mean - they "paid" voice actors who AGREED to the terms of the contract?

It's TTS (Text-to-speech) that trains on the voice lines recorded by the people they hire. It's not "GenAI" - but okay.

I for one admire all the performative outrage about the way Embark have cleverly used AI to assist in their own game development.

Slapping the "Generative AI slop" label to this use and throwing your toys out the pram is not useful or cool. You just look kinda silly.

Beyond proud of the volume of content our tiny team produces across so many different disciplines - video, livestreams, shows, written articles....
