Apparently it was something to do with the police.
The idea of them side eyeing each other on the sofa and whispering about where Lady Gaga is for two whole hours honestly sent me to the bottom of their garden and back.
To quote my partner’s dad - “I did keep wondering when the joker was going to show up.”
I asked what the “wrong film” was about? Was it set in Gotham?
Nope.
The “wrong film” was 2 hours long. So they’d watched the wrong film in its entirety.
Fully watched the full film.
Saw them at the weekend and asked what they’d watched, assuming it was something joker related…no absolutely not.
I feel this needs to be public knowledge…
After my partner and I rented Joker: Folie à Deux on Amazon, I told him to let his mum know that she and his Dad could also watch it.
He did.
Some time later he receives a text from his Mum - they’d watched the wrong film for 2 hours. It turns out…

One thing that will make you feel old is living next door to students and having a designated wall banging candlestick for when you’ve had enough of hearing them enjoy their youth.
