I'm not sure my French is good enough to understand the full subtleties of Libé's review of the Michael Jackson biopic

Surely the big issue here is why we're giving driving licences to feral pigs, and what they're up to at night in Moree.

Legit question in the Australian today, how can Simon Benson kill the 30-50 feral hogs that run into his yard within 3-5 mins while small kids play?

Cost per Kilometre — 20 April 2026 Live comparison of the energy cost per kilometre for Australia's top 10 petrol cars vs top 10 EVs, using real-time Melbourne fuel prices and Amber Electric rates.

these graphs are not only interesting for the ICE v EV comparison but they really expose how much more gas-guzzling the nation's five most popular ICE cars are, 50% more expensive to run than the rest of the top ten.

There was literally a pangolin that flew combat sorties with the CIA in a dirty war in Laos that then died after drinking too much gin, so there’s at least one pangolin whose record is morally ambiguous

It's nice to hear yet another generation is discovering 'being a hipster' but I do wonder what a 'physical media' influencer is. Do they just come up to you on the street and explain how cool their lifestyle is to you?

Car fuel tanks are designed to prevent fuel evaporation. Also, the overflow pipe is at the top of the filler neck, so there will be no overflow unless it's blocked. The 'fuel saving tip' is rubbish, imo. If people want to save fuel they can begin with not driving their kids around in trucks.

everyone's being snarky about the government's fuel saving tips but thanks to them TIL that when the petrol pump thingo goes click you shouldn't try to squeeze a little more into the tank because it'll spill or evaporate. For decades I thought I was being efficient by ignoring the first click. GAH!
