And the Australian 2024 Useless Government Agency Of The Year award goes to . . . . .

*drum roll*

the National Anti-Corruption Commission.

Even if you’re an experienced hiker, even if you’ve lodged your trip plan with friends and family, even if you have adequate supplies, unexpected things can happen. It’s always safer to hike with others than alone

WA's gas and electricity prices have tripled since 2020, after the WA Gov let Woodside export domestic gas reserves.

Now Woodside want a 50 year extension for their North West Shelf export terminal.

If it's approved, it will lock in higher prices for decades.

Scottish media mark arrival of Spirit of Tasmania ferry 'too big' for Australia as cost revealed It'll cost at least $47,534 a week, plus costs, for the Spirit of Tasmania IV to berth in Scotland under a 30-day deal struck by the Tasmanian government.

Tasmania - when the government says it cannot afford to fix the housing crisis or protect our environment, just remind them they are paying $47,534 a week to park a ship in Edinburgh because the port here won't be built till 2027.
