I say, if the captain wants to wear it, fine. If they don’t, also fine. I support my LGBTQ + peeps, but I’m not forcing my opinion on others. However, don’t be surprised if other groups (that you support out not) want armbands too.

Most of the world’s conflicts are over imaginary things. Borders are imaginary lines, just ask the animals who take no notice of them. Currencies have imaginary values assigned by suits. We even create fake divides between people to say that we’re different and not just human.

You save money when you already have money: a person who can afford a large down payment pays less on a loan, large lifetime and yearly subscriptions save money over monthly ones, and so forth. Just a reminder why the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.

There Will Come Soft Rains is one of my favorite stories to teach my middle schoolers! It has great examples of figurative language and gets them talking.

It’s the next book on my shelf to read! I’m assuming from this post that I should be even more excited to read it?
