Maybe it's because they're career civil servants/politicians, and don't live in the real world.

The crazy thing is, most will vote for the party that enables him.

He ACTUALLY asked for the nuclear codes.

The age of fakery is over.

You just can’t ignore his transgressions.

The future of the world is on the line.

Because we refuse to see?

This has gotten real.

I hope it has for you.

That's the problem when you have devise politicians desperately trying to split the voter base. You know the ones, they'll say anything to get your vote.

Why did you post that article about a Jewish Labour councillor Richard?

Prior to vaccination and germ theory armies generally lost 2-3 soldiers to disease for every combat death. This is a reckless abandonment of US military readiness.

Here's the numbers from the US Civil War:

So that's where we're going, the UK becoming a country of nationalist parties.

This. What we’ve allowed Trump to do to our allies cannot be fixed with a single seesaw presidential election from Republican to Democrat. Real, generational-level damage is occurring.

The world is watching us. The pro-democracy team does not like what it’s seeing.

Perhaps. I'm beginning to think the days of moderate politics is over. The two parties most likely to gain in the local elections represent ideologies of left and right. Not sure our economy or social wellbeing can go through this test, especially If this division is represented at the next GE.

I'm pretty sure interviewing personnel isn't on the job description of PM, regardless of seniority. I doubt other PMs have security checked embassy staff for suitability.

I'd be more concerned by their defence contract at the moment. Dangerous company with links to Netanyahu.

Yep. The media have been made to look incompetent, speculative, desperate, misleading, & bloody foolish. One of the best journalists on here is @pickardje.bsky.social from the FT. He posts events as they happen, but waits until there's an outcome before commenting. Good unbiased journalism.

Well put. Of course the leadership has played it's part by being sympathetic to their grievances and playing them like a fiddle.

Policies? it's a hypothetical wish list. As the GE gets closer, the wish list will change. Zack is in for hard ride with the media, they don't like left leaning success.
I shouldn't think the Green MPs elected before Zack took over would agree with you as being unelectable.

I'm sick of the media in this country, there are decent journalists, few & far between. Even moderate journalists change with the weather. What an awful mindset they must have to consistently put out negative stories. Not just about Starmer/Labour, but in general. No wonder mental health is rife.

"any government that might follow it" He who pays the piper, bit mercenary.

The media should shoulder a lot of the blame for this fiasco. Even now they're desperately picking over every word and continue to speculate.

Sorry I don't know every MP from every party. I'll try though. People make mistakes; most are genuine, some not. I don't dismiss the Greens, I've voted for them in the past. However the Green party as was doesn't exist now, It's a populist party.
