One arm is as done as it will get for a while. All that is left is to paint, but i think i will focus on getting other pieces started first. But i will get the other arm up to speed first.
Also, one arm is almost 4lbs. 👀 look how large it is compared to me!

✨FF7R Gilgamesh WIP✨
The upper arms are getting there! We figured out the angles for pvc pipes/connections, so now it’s just about building the rest of the arm. All that’s left will be to make the forearms and hands. And of course cement everything in place. Then eventually will come the painting! 🤩

Used acrylic latex caulk to fill in seam gaps on foam Cosplay wip Gilgamesh final fantasy 7 rebirth

Reinforced the insides with scrap foam strips. Also started detailing. “Rivets” are half pearls that were grounded down to be more flat. Caulk was used to fill in seam gaps.

Sphere pattern worked out! Finally!
Traced and cut foam and contact cemented stuff together!

Pattern attempt 3.0 - altered the bottom of the foam part a little bit so that the sides stay up more and not slouch/slant so much. Now attempting to figure out the rest with cardstock.
But now I’m going to just make a sphere pattern () <- like that, that will make a circle and hopefully fit/work 🤞
