The steaming off technique allegedly works (though clearly not for Nike), but since no one here has been able to personally attest to it, I’m just going to have to somehow acquire a Timbers jersey.

I discovered I had an old Thorns warm-up jersey in the wrong size so I tested this theory. Fucking disaster, lol

I'm working on a replacement iron-on project, and I don't think most folks are gonna buy a $20 jug of chemicals to take off the sponsor – I was hoping for an "at home with the iron you probably already own" type of solution. :(
