Already in the earlier stages of The Hollow Strata, I wanted it to be a sort of "post-collapse" megastructure:
It had fallen into disrepair, but new, alien and sometimes beautiful ecosystems formed within its decaying husk.
I try to make it be a grim setting, but not robbed of beauty and hope.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the course modern tech has been taking.
I still remember a time where you could get a piece of hardware, or install new software, and it would work. Off rip, no drama.
If I get something now, it can be hours of setup and troubleshooting first.

While the holiday has been long forgotten in the Strata, the spirit lives on (in a way).
