Right? Best sale in years

Really did!
Yes.
Yesssssss.
It’s unmarked so I’m not 100% sure
It’s a manufacturer brochure…can’t wait to thumb through it
The estate sale gods giveth and taketh away.
But today, today they giveth enormously.
That’s it for tonight…nose looks a little more Antonov to me than Douglas, but either way really liking how it’s shaping together.
TWF ftw
Coming along nicely! My assembly line shut down early for the night. Union issues.
Not for this, no
Tonight’s reading material
If you like Piedmont, National and Pan Am collectibles, drop me a DM.
Plane goes by out the window as he’s crashing out…”hey thanks omega!”
I just want to know how many sales leads that website sticker has produced. How many times has a serious customer called and been like, hey I saw the site on the side on your plane and realized I need a tanker and I need it today.
Had the same thought. I’d never seen them before close up, and thought ‘well that’s one way I guess’
I've always found that really funny about their birds. Like let's be real, if I call them up tomorrow and say 'hey whats it gonna cost for a joy ride?' you just know you're not getting a call back.
I'm pretty sure this is the only time I've seen a proper B707 airborne. I know, the E3 and E6 are based on it, but it's not quite the same. This frame actually flew pax for decades before settling into a VIP role in the late 90s. It joined Omega in 2012 but didn't enter service until 2023.
I don't go plane-spotting very often anymore, but when I do it's for one of the last airworthy B707s, with a bonus stumble onto a Copa special livery B73M8.
Goodnight to Lufthansa CityLine, which has been shuttered effective today, according to LH.
The A346 fleet is due to retire in fall/winter of this year, and the 747-400 has a new retirement date: late 2027.
Shame to lose these routes. Norse had, IMO, one of the best premium economy products (and often at the best price) from the west coast US to western Europe. At least LAX picked up a few flights to ATH.
(Review from last year w/ @runwaygirl.com: runwaygirlnetwork.com/2025/09/nors...)
Their printed materials from 1940-1970 are among my favorite to collect, and their 1980s dueling eagle logo on a tumbler is my favorite to enjoy a nice beverage in.
AA and I have had a rocky relationship, and they've more than earned their status as an airline I refuse to spend money on. But I have very fond memories of flying them in the 90s out of Boston, with the big terminal B neon eagle, or later on in the mid-00s to STL on their Super 80s.
I really really need to go outside and get some filming done but a) it's been pouring all morning and b) the animals I need to film will already have been asleep since 10
Whatever it was, it hasn't yet come up. No 'where are you' phone call, no 'no-call, no-show bill'....*shrug* guess we'll never know
