Re: Hungary 🥳🇭🇺
We’ve been waiting for years for this. Never forget that we can still win when we all show up and stick together!
Somehow these exams have not graded themselves.
Donald Trump must be removed from office. Not only is he waging an illegal war—he’s threatening war crimes.
To the members of our military: remember, you do not have to follow illegal orders.
These changes to the USFS, the loss of the regional offices and excellent long-term scientific research, will be devastating. I hope it can be stopped.
The Republican Congress is the reason that Hegseth was allowed to start an unwinnable war.
The Republican Congress is the reason we are having the worst measles outbreak in decades.
The Republican Congress is the reason that people are being terrorized by ICE.

Mediate Headline: Kristi Noem’s Husband Accused of Living Double Life as Crossdresser Obsessed With ‘Bimbofication’ Kink
we can either get a Supreme Court decision or a headline like this but both in one day is too much
Whoa, this got combative and escalated beyond what seems reasonable…
Yes, I also noticed the tone!
The power of a field trip to ignite passion, bring studies to life and inspire people cannot be understated.
So many of us owe our careers to the excitement first kindled on a college field trip.
And now I’m a science teacher and I want to inspire students to love and know the world around us and I’m just sickened by the sad reality that parents might feel nervous about letting their kids get those experiences bc of (justifiable!) concern over what will happen on trips like that.
Later, as a senior, I went on a Post 84 trip to Utah and it was a blast and we canyoneered thru slot canyons and my love for the desert Southwest was born. It’s like the color inversion of the Pacific Northwest—all reds and yellows compared to the blue grey greens of Seattle.
Whoops, broke containment for this. I had a close friend who was a member of Post 84 and strongly denied any abuse took place. I never quite believed that, but he was my friend and we simply avoided the topic for the next 3 years.
I happened to attend this school during this time, and the teacher who (allegedly, but the evidence seems pretty clear to me) abused members of the outdoors group was my biology teacher (before his leave and ultimately suicide). Lot of unanswered Qs from that time, this series has been eye opening
If a secdef violating the 14th amendment rights of US servicemembers by denying promotions based on race isn’t impeachable then I don’t see what is. The man would rather the military be racist than effective.

It is time to dust off the ol’ Constitution and impeach the President. The framers put it in there and it’s time to use it!
Dang it, have to update my slides on geologic history of oxygen levels! Students love the idea of giant bugs and how oxygen diffuses

Gonna use this in my human reproductive systems lesson today!
Okay so why was I the only one in the theater tonight who gasped when Ryan Gosling ran a centrifuge with two tubes in the whole thing, sitting right next to each other? Sorry was I the only scientist in the film society theater tonight??

Wind, water, and solar with battery storage is how we’ll power our economy from now on, and it’s getting better

some good news: a new record for California grid battery discharge, 11.7 GW
