Hm yeah, that's definitely a bad. My thoughts here is that "randomness" itself is bad in its unpredictability, but the results of that randomness are of a different quality. Wind World shows us the peninsula deaths, but it also shows us Kassandra and Ben, meaning the dice roll may also be favorable

I really enjoyed Quartet!
I couldn't help but muse over the world-building philosophies it presents, so now I have a stupidly long write-up about it lol
It's a great game with thoughtful writing! Check it out!

people online will be like "WHOA that's just like Pickle Sandwich Theory from TikTok!" and it's just the idea that you cry when you're sad
I was dumb and ate a spicy pepper
Tasted great though!

i am ready for death
i'd like board game warm-up to include the small moment of collective creativity required for a group to determine what criteria they think would work best to start whatever game they are about to enjoy
petition to make it so that every boardgame rulebook just says "SOMEONE SHOULD DECIDE WHO GOES FIRST SOMEHOW"
dance instructor: we only have three beats, 1, 2, 3, but we hold the 3 for two beats, but we don't count a fourth, and we start with our foot forward on the first, but the 3 of the dance is the 1 of the song, and the song goes 1, 2, 3, 4. Got it?
Had an amazing 4-day weekend hiking in the Alps.
76km total, over 800m elevation, and yes, at least 10km of that hike was barefoot in the snow

one day Taskmaster will no longer be a show, and I will buy the Taskmaster house
Happy April 1st for those who celebrate!
Be prepared to spend the day dodging harmless jokes or dodging people being overly dramatic about how the day is full of cruelty!
As a Macahdo de Assis fan, I've been very excited to see what these devs do here!
Frustrating part about learning to dance is when people tell you to just "feel" it
Level with me: if I knew how to just "feel" it, I wouldn't need dance lessons in my late 30s. I would have felt it some time long ago
500 status effects, each with their own heal requirement, busy icons, and overlapping effects, none of which were worth casting on enemies
I biked 10km with this rosemary sticking out of my backpack and it was worth it
I thought to ask because the image isn't just squares at a pixel level, but also larger blocks of squares in its "terrain", which sometimes strikes me as a commitment to squares. I don't have anywhere to go with this train of thought, it just felt worth investigating
I also love squares as a medium for all of those reasons! I also think there is a beauty in seeing something so abstractly rigid and interpreting a more complex figure in your mind (like th bubbles). Although I sometimes feel squares make the artifice too apparent
What are your thoughts on squares as a medium?
it's hard to find proper spicy food in Germany
i'm surprised the yogurt doesn't have a little pepper on it like, "be careful, this is scharf! There's mango in it!"
The colors are perfect
I almost never go to Reddit, but when I do, I always find a post that is getting dogpiled because some other people had already asked that question over the years
Like, if the subreddit can't handle multiple question/answers sessions, just make it a Wiki and shut down the sub
lovely chicory! looks delish

Neil Watts from 🌕TO THE MOON is a character option in 🐛SOCIAL CATERPILLAR, so we thought... why not make a bundle about it!?

I have my own games I should be promoting, but it's my societal duty to tell JRPG enjoyers that Quartet is worth every penny
