Woman charged with attempted murder after car hits pedestrians A 30-year-old woman is in a critical condition following the incident on Sunday morning in Soho.

The driver has been charged with attempted murder.

Not sure why it's so hard for the BBC to say that. You can bet your arse that if it was a person on a bike they'd be saying cyclist.

Lots of London boroughs continue to prioritise the convenience of Range Rover drivers over the safety of Londoners. This is @rbkc.gov.uk who shamefully removed a cycle lane here.

First section of the eastbound cycle track on Clerkenwell Rd has begun to be used by some 🚲 .

It does have a 🚲 logo painted, but I'm not 100% convinced it's officially open as it doesn't end very tidily approx around Laystall St.

Really recommend reading this short piece. The long running mistake in the UK has been failure to see or act on the links between roads/transport policy & public health

Does law make motonormative assumptions in its response to injury and death on the roads? How might we act differently towards road violence if we step outside of these framings? In this new paper, I set out some answers to these questions.

Make it safer for families to walk and cycle to schools please! Use school streets or LTNs, and encourage a bike bus to make it fun. Then you give children independence and an appreciation of cycling that will stay with them for life.
