Twitter: it's the Florida of the internet.

Wish I could say "sorry, Florida", but then another Florida Man shows up...

Been wondering what happened to you, it's been quite some time since you last surfaced...

I mean, I could see it, considering that Facebook and Instagram both push Threads at you.

But then again, I also see the utter bullshit that gets shoved in my face on Threads. I'll pass.

I want to be surprised.

Like, really, I do...

My brain proceeded to snark at me: "Make VHS great again? Be kind, rewind?" 🤷‍♀️

As far as BC and the like goes, I don't think I've got too much to be concerned about: I chose the route I did because it doesn't leave much in the way of evidence of a change. 2/2

I'm well aware. The issue I've got to be concerned about is that the application demands all names you've used in the past, I think. 1/

I barely post on Instagram, lol. I get the dopamine hit but I absolutely despise the algorithmic feeds, unless the algorithm is "time posted with newest at the top" 😅

Also, Facebook and Instagram will surface your posts for quite some time after they've been posted; over here, engagement doesn't boost them up because the feed is usually chronological.

I mean, I see your posts.

I think a big part of it is engagement - there's plenty of people over here but so many of us are still on Facetrap and the like.

America’s Enabling Act moment: Congress’ coming denouement and the Reichstag test As echoes of 1933 grow louder, will Congress act or must the American people shut the country down?

Yep. This is where we're headed...

Well, no, it is about efficiency. As in, the efficiency by which the US government transfers funds to Elon Musk.

Neat. I finally, after being online for 20 years, bothered registering a domain name.

It might have been devastating for us, having the cost of our goods go up almost across the board, and the havoc that could have been wreaked as a result.

But bending over to him just enables him to pull the same stunt again.

And he will.

With the most recent thing, the threat of tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports, there's a part of me that wishes one or both of them would have called his bluff.

The world fears the havoc he inevitably creates, this man child, sitting in the highest office in the US, who is in the process of trying to put our military and the world economy directly under his thumb.

Read earlier: "*orange man* is popular and respected all over this planet"

Uhh. He's "respected" the way an abused child "respects" their parent.

I might be able to toss that your way this evening, once banks do their thing.

Also: take the time to learn how to install your spare tire, and make sure you've got the necessary equipment to do it. Your car _should_ have a jack and a wrench, but...

So many don't have a clue as to what to do when the time comes...

That would have been awesome, though, right? I just had my first one Wednesday, lol
