A photo of my holding two proof copies of Harbour Doubts in front of the harbour. A small red boat can be seen in the background. The sky and sea are bright blue.
A beautiful day for the proofs of Harbour Doubts to arrive!

The second book from @bebeashley.bsky.social is published in June by @bansheepress.bsky.social. It charts the poet's attempt to become a sign language interpreter and weaves together words, language, communication, the physical and the ephemeral. Two short extracts below⬇️

Today has unexpectedly become a very exciting day! The digital proof of Harbour Doubts has made its way to shore! 🚣♀️ On this readthrough, I'm so grateful for all the people who have helped make this book happen!
2025 is going to be such a special year!
A cat curled up looking into the camera next to a pillow and blanket and copy of Magma Poetry.
I’ve told Lily it’s her turn to write the next 3,000 words
A photograph of two cats sleeping hugging each other tightly.
Holding onto social media as tightly as Lily and Merlin hold onto each other and hoping that good things can come of it again!
Can’t quite believe how beautiful this apartment and studio is and that I’ll get to spend two weeks here in Spoleto working on absolutely everything and anything. ✨
A photograph of a small square of cardboard with a large curled up cat stamp on it layered with stars. It is resting in front of a large cat sitting on a blanket.
Happy new year! I am hoping to be more intentional this year and am bringing back journaling! Hopefully a cat stamp a day filled with thought. ✨
A box of iced ginger biscuits in the shape of stars and snowflakes surrounded by golden ribbons.
Wishing you all a happy and peaceful New Year. Thank you for following and for all your lovely messages. Happy New Year! 🎉🎉
What nobody warned me about bullet journalling was that I would have an overwhelming desire to rip out every page with the slightest mistake on (which is so far every page).
I am holding up a tactile copy of Self Portrait as a Painter by Van Gogh directly in front of the original painting.
Feeling Van Gogh 🎨 So grateful for the opportunity to explore different tactile reproduction techniques and enjoy a personal tour of some collection highlights!
A photograph of a cascade of a notecard calendar. Each month has a short quote from a poet on it.
A photograph of a single postcard for January. A quote from my poem reads, ‘Joy turns into applause and I’m speaking another language again’
2024 will be a better year for having more poetry in it! Thanks to my friends for sharing their work with me. I’m excited to post these across the island.
A photograph of Blockface, a modular typography set, neatly packed in a box.
The best type of shopping is modular typography shopping!
A photograph of For the Good Times by David Keenan in front of a fire.
A whole day of using my brain, and now, no better evening plans than sitting close to the fire & reading.

Research Trip ✨🇫🇮
A photograph of a small 3D printed poem of 7 fragments surrounded by pumpkin lights next to a ceramic pumpkin.
I never remember to bring work with me to show people even though I love talking about it! Here’s a carry-on friendly frame for Finland 🇫🇮
Today, I’ve reached 2020 in the ‘Lived Experience’ part of my PhD. Grateful to at least have the comfort of this view as I begin to even try explaining the impact the pandemic had (and continues to have) on this work and the world.
1500 words and a photoshoot a day keeps the editors at bay
The universe works in the strangest of ways! A big house with eight total strangers in working across different artforms and it turns out two of you share the same publisher! So fun to finally meet @dylanbrennan.bsky.social in person!
Thank you!
Where is this published please?
Once again in awe that this* is my actual life ✨
*writing and having people believe in my writing so much that they send me on residencies in a location that wouldn’t be amiss in Poirot

Hello! I have reached the part of PhD where I’ll be writing about the Irish border. If you have any essay recommendations on visible or invisible borders please do share!
A calendar of contemporary Irish poetry? Seems essential!
My brain is so full and yet all I want to think of is designing a line of merch for poets
A photograph of a basket inside with different types of wood and firefighters.
The first build a fire basket of the year 🔥
I forgot the phrase compilation disk when describing a recent powerballads album and instead referred to it as an anthology of songs and noises
